  How to use WhatsApp?

  Hello everyone,

  I hope I’m posting this in the right place. My name is Van, and recently got a smartphone (a gift from my neice, bless her heart). She told me I could use something called “WhatsApp” to talk to my family, especially since my son lives abroad now.

  I’ve managed to turn the phone on (small victory!), but I’m quite lost from there. I see the WhatsApp icon, but I’m not sure how to:

  • Add my family members so I can message or call them
  • Send a photo (my cat Muffin does the funniest things!)
  • Make a video call (my grandson says he wants to “see me smile”)
  • Know if someone has read my message or not

  Also, the buttons are so small and sometimes things disappear when I tap them. Is there a way to make it easier to see or use?

  I’m not very tech-savvy, but I’m eager to learn. If anyone has a simple guide or can explain things in plain language, I’d be truly grateful. Even a video would help—though I’ll need help figuring out how to watch that too ????
